MATH

Tom Rogers grew up in Portland, Oregon and moved here from Southern California a year ago. He holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Portland State University, and did graduate mathematical work at the University of California at Berkeley and San Francisco State University. His secondary teaching credential was earned through California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo. Tom also holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy of Science from Indiana University, Bloomington. He loves to share his experience teaching high school and college; helping students; and tutoring.

Tom is happily married. He has two children in San Francisco, and two children and four grandchildren here. He loves being out of doors; hiking, climbing and gardening; and has traveled a good deal throughout the United States, Europe, and Australia.
