Anna Eaton-Merkle has been teaching in the language arts since 1989. She is currently teaching College Prep English to seniors at Eagle High School. In addition to teaching as a wonderful pastime (and yes, she really does see it that way) she also writes, paints, and thinks about the meaning of life. She has her degree in English Education from University of Idaho and her Master’s in Creative Writing from Boise State, so she has been known to cheer for either side at random intervals. Anna obtained her National Board Certification in 2002 and has recently begun working towards her Doctorate in educational philosophy. She lives and plays in Eagle with her husband Jim, her three children.
