Tutoring and Student Enrichment - Ages k - 12
No matter the subject area or grade level of your student, True North can create a program that will
help your child build the confidence and skills that will result in success in the classroom. Our teachers
are the best of the best and can make even the most reluctant learner excited about school. Our teachers
are creative, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their subject areas. The result adds up to learning - lots of it.
 Personalized Tutoring and Learning Instruction
We are not a franchise and don't bog you down with registration fees and expensive testing.
Our goal is teaching students to recognize their own strengths and weaknesses as a learner and
to establish effective study habits. We want to empower students to take control of their own
educational success
Teachers work with students and parents to access needs and set goals.
All tutors are certified classroom instructors.
Elementary and Middle School
- Small group classes available for primary and secondary students
in Core Subject areas, Enrichment, and Study Skills - see the calendar
for details
- Private tutoring available by appointment Monday through Friday from 3:30 - 6:30PM and Saturdays by appointment.
Secondary and College Bound Students 
- ACT and SAT Preparation Classes forming regularly. Visit the calendar for classes
set to prepare for arranged testing dates
- College Portfolio Preparation and Assessment: we will work with your student to help him/her write college entrance
essays and letters, create resumes and fill out important applications. We can also help with scholarship applications
and other forms.
- Secondary Study Skills and College Study Skills: Our goal is to help your child learn to organize notes and thoughts
in the most effective way possible. We will work to access the needs of the students and then develop a specialized program
to meet those needs.
- Public Speaking and Presentation Workshops - A refresher course designed to improve interviewing and presenting skills.
A great idea for students preparing for Senior Projects and College or Job interviews.
- Subject Area Tutoring in all Subject Areas: Let us know where your student needs help and we will place your student
with a certified teacher in that subject area. Tutoring can be done privately or in small groups.
